Trump International Hotel & Golf Links in Clare was honoured with the Best Employer Large Business award at the Fáilte Ireland’s Employer Excellence Awards.
The awards, held at the Lyrath Estate Hotel in Kilkenny, celebrated a total of 14 winners, including establishments like Sandhouse Hotel in Donegal, Ballyhass Adventure Park in Cork, and Smithwick’s Experience in Kilkenny, across various categories like Best Employer on the Wild Atlantic Way and in Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands.
A total of over 260 tourism businesses are actively involved in Fáilte Ireland’s Employer Excellence program, which aims to enhance employee engagement by identifying workplace strengths and areas for development through staff surveys and management training initiatives.
The selected winners were determined based on employee feedback gathered through the program’s activities and their successful implementation of strategies to improve workplace engagement. This was the second year of the award ceremony.
