Insolvent MYAirline based in Kuala Lumpur has had its air operator’s certificate (AOC) cancelled by the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM).
The AOC was revoked on April 15 after the airline failed to find a new investor by the deadline set by CAAM. CAAM CEO Captain Norazman Mahmud stated that no more extensions would be granted.
Malaysian LCC stopped flying in October 2023, and its AOC was suspended by CAAM shortly after. The Malaysian Aviation Commission (MAVCOM) has also revoked MYAirline’s air service licence (ASL).
Any potential restart of MYAirline will require a fresh application to both CAAM and MAVCOM for the necessary licences and certification.
