
Royal Caribbean International has appointed Angie Stephen as its new senior vice president to oversee the cruise line’s global growth and presence in over 80 countries.
CEO Michael Bayley praised Stephen’s experience and success, highlighting her leadership in sales, marketing, and driving the brand’s popularity and achievements in Asia.
Ms Stephen expressed excitement for her new role, emphasizing the vacation industry’s momentum and the opportunities presented by upcoming ship launches like the Icon of the Seas and Utopia of the Seas.
Stephen’s appointment follows Bert Hernandez’s move to become president of Silversea, with the company set to announce a new vice president for the Asia region soon. Stephen has been with Royal Caribbean for over 25 years, starting as a field sales manager and progressing through various sales and marketing roles.
