A measles alert has been issued to passengers on flight TK1977 from Istanbul to Dublin on May 6.

A HSE letter is warning passengers of measles exposure, advises at-risk passengers to contact public health office.

Concern over measles cases in Ireland is linked to lower MMR vaccine uptake and increased travel to countries with higher infection rates.
