JetBlue has launched a new seasonal daily flight between New York JFK and Edinburgh, adding to its existing transatlantic routes to Amsterdam, London, Paris, and Dublin.

Flights depart JFK at 2112, arriving in Edinburgh at 0930 the following day, with return flights leaving Edinburgh at 1230 and landing back in New York at 1506. The route is operated by JetBlue’s A321neo aircraft with 16 Mint Suites and 144 economy seats.

The new JFK-Edinburgh route competes with Delta’s seasonal service on the same route, while JetBlue also operates year-round flights from Boston and JFK to Gatwick and Heathrow.

The UK Government Minister for Scotland, John Lamont, highlighted the importance of the US-UK relationship and expressed optimism that the new flight route will strengthen ties between the two countries, benefiting tourism and business travel.
