Ireland West Airport and Portwest have partnerred to host the annual 5k runway fun run on September 14th, 2024.
The event will raise funds for charity partners including ACT for Meningitis and Down Syndrome Ireland, among others.
Entry costs €20 for adults, €5 for under-16s, and a family rate of €40 for 2 adults and 2 kids.
Participants will receive a race t-shirt, complimentary car parking, and refreshments; registration is available online and is advised to be done early due to participant restrictions.
Joe Gilmore, Managing Director, Ireland West Airport said “this is always a fantastic event which raises over €20,000 every year for our charity partners. The airport is delighted to be partnering with six new charities this year, recognising the fantastic work these charities do both in their local communities and beyond. We look forward to welcoming a big crowd to the airport on the 14th of September and in turn to raising significant monies for our six great charities’.
