Comedian Dom Joly and former RTE broadcaster Tommie Gorman are keynote speakers at the 2024 Immrama travel writing festival in Lismore, inspired by author Dervla Murphy.
Dervla Murphy was a pioneering travel writer who detailed her solo cycling adventures around the world, inspiring the likes of Michael Palin.
The festival features a variety of travel writers, comedians, journalists, explorers, and singers who share a passion for travel and adventure.
The festival program includes talks by author Michael Harding, comedian Dom Joly, former RTE Northern Editor Tommie Gorman, classical opera singer Amanda Neri, Waterford historian Donald Brady, and explorer Bridget Ashton.
