Aer Lingus says that a work-to-rule starting next week will lead to the pre-emptive cancellation of between 10pc and 20pc of flights.
Up to 8,000 passengers a day could be affected by the cancellations between June 26 and June 30. Aer Lingus has 220 flights a day at this time of the year.
Impacted customers will have the option to change their flights for free, cancel for a refund or voucher, or stick to the published roster.
Aer Lingus management and the pilots’ union are at odds over a pay dispute.
