Aer Lingus has expressed its disappointment after the Labour Court declined to intervene in pay dispute with pilots and said instead it would make a recommendation in July.

The Labour court held separate meetings with Aer LIngus, IALPA and the Fórsa trade union yesterday.

Aer Lingus says it remains available for discussions directly and through the State’s industrial relations framework

IALPA also says it remains available for meaningful negotiations, and plans industrial action to start this morning..
