
Aer Lingus pilots are considering a further one day stoppage on next Saturday July 6 to ramp up pressure on Aer Lingus.

Talks between airline management and pilots’ representatives aimed at resolving a pay dispute have ended without resolution.
The union’s executive has recommended a longer work stoppage than the eight-hour stoppage planned for this Saturday, with the disputes committee needing to sanction the decision.
Aer Lingus has expressed that it believes further strike action would be inappropriate, especially after a request from the Labour Court to not escalate the dispute.
