North Cyprus’s virtual airline Fly Kıbrıs suspends summer flights

Fly Kıbrıs Airlines, a Northern Cyprus-based virtual airline, suspended summer flights after commencing operations on April 16, 2023.

The airline operates scheduled flights from Northern Cyprus to six destinations in Turkey using an Airbus A320-200 from Freebird Airlines and an Airbus A330-300 from Air Anka.

Fly Kıbrıs Airlines has a fleet size of 2 aircraft and serves 6 destinations from its hub at Ercan International Airport in Northern Cyprus.

Despite initial plans to expand operations to cities like Baku and Tehran, with the addition of an Airbus A330-300 to its fleet, the airline faced challenges and had to suspend summer flights.
