Emirates has postponed the debut of its first A350-900 aircraft to November 4 due to delivery delays from Airbus, with the first flight to operate on a daily basis to Edinburgh.
Originally set for September 15, the A350 deployment has been rescheduled, with Edinburgh replacing Bahrain International as the initial destination for the new widebody aircraft.
The airline plans to expedite the entry into service of its A350s once they are received and aims to minimize the impact of the delays on its operations.
Emirates’ rollout of the A350-900 includes flights to various destinations starting from November 4, with further routes planned for the new aircraft up to March 1, 2025, as part of its order for sixty-five A350-900s from Airbus.
