Norwegian Air has lowered its 2024 operating profit forecast to between €1.8bn to €2.5bn.

Factors contributing to the lower forecast include lower-than-expected traffic demand in the second quarter, higher wage settlements for pilots, aircraft delivery delays from Boeing, and a weaker exchange rate for the Norwegian crown

The company had previously forecast an operating profit between 2.5 billion and 3.2 billion crowns

Norwegian Air cited multiple factors for the revised profit forecast, indicating challenges faced by the airline industry in the current market.
