Qantas has launched its third nonstop European route from Perth Airport, offering flights to Paris for the first time in two decades

The service will initially operate four times a week leading up to the Paris Olympics before reducing to three times weekly from mid-August

The new Boeing 787 Dreamliner service cuts around three hours off the fastest flight times between Perth and Paris and adds 75,000 seats between Australia and Europe per year

The Perth-Paris route is the longest nonstop flight to France in the world at 14,264km and a journey time of 17 hours and 20 minutes, joining Qantas’ nonstop Perth-Rome service and Perth-London flights
