Qatar Airways has ordered twenty more Boeing 777-9 aircraft, adding to their existing order of forty passenger B777-9s and thirty-four B777-8Fs.
The order was announced at the 2024 Farnborough Air Show and was recently finalized, listed as unidentified on Boeing’s Orders & Deliveries website.
Qatar Airways currently operates a fleet of B777s, B787s, A330s, A350s, and A380s, with a total of fifty-seven B777-300(ER)s, seven B777-200(LR)s, and twenty-eight B777-8Fs in service.
No delivery dates for the twenty additional B777-9s have been revealed.
