The Disney Destiny, launching in late 2025 from Port Everglades, Florida, will feature hero and villain-themed attractions inspired by Disney, Pixar, and Marvel, as announced in a press release.
The ship will offer hero-themed experiences such as the “Lion King” dining adventure, an “Incredibles” confectionary, and themed staterooms to immerse guests in the world of iconic Disney characters.

Specialty venues on board include Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King, a savanna-themed dining venue with live musicians and themed menu, and Edna Á La Mode Sweets, offering a unique confectionary inspired by “The Incredibles.”
Café Megara and Café Merida will be walk-up cafes on the Disney Destiny, themed after the heroines from Disney’s “Hercules” and Pixar’s “Brave” respectively, each showcasing unique designs reflecting the characters’ backgrounds and stories. Café Merida wil feature Scottish themes.
Sharon Siskie, senior vice president and general manager of Disney Cruise Line said “for the Disney Destiny, we will introduce brand-new cruise experiences inspired by the legends and legacies of some of Disney’s most iconic heroes and villains. From the dining rooms to the staterooms and everywhere in between, guests aboard our new ship will be surrounded by extraordinary storytelling paired with the signature service and family-fun adventures that are hallmarks of a Disney Cruise vacation.”
