
Air Astana has signed a new dry lease agreement with Air Lease Corporation for seven A321-200NX(LR)s scheduled for delivery between 2026 and 2028.
The Kazakh flag carrier currently operates various narrowbody aircraft, including A320s and A321s, with plans to add three more A320-200Ns from Avolon.
The Kazakh government announced that the first B787 for a “Kazakh airline” will be delivered in late 2025 following a meeting with Boeing.
Air Astana previously signed a dry lease agreement for three B787-9s, with plans to use the new widebodies to launch flights to the United States in 2025.
