Allegiant Air has reduced its expected B737-8-200 deliveries for 2024 to four from an initial plan of twelve due to ongoing Boeing quality issues and reduced output

The airline is absorbing USD30 million in annual expenses not associated with productive assets, such as pilot training for B737 MAX aircraft

The carrier expects its first B737-8-200 delivery in September but anticipates a slower delivery cadence in 2025 and 2026.

Allegiant Air currently operates a fleet of 131 aircraft and plans to continue retiring older aircraft, with an expected fleet growth of one or two aircraft by the end of 2025.
