Today will be the busiest day of the weekend in Dublin airport and may be the busiest in the season.
Sunday is projected to be the busiest day of the year so far and perhaps the best day in the history of the airport with over 120,000 passengers arriving and departing from Dublin Airport, comparable to the 120,585 handled by the airport on Sunday July 30, 2023.
Travellers are advised to arrive at the airport two hours before a short-haul flight and three hours prior to a long-haul journey to allow sufficient time for check-in and security screenings.
Dublin Airport’s Director of Communications, Sarah Ryan said “this weekend will be one of our busiest of the year so far. A host of new food and beverage outlets have been added in both terminals, and avail of the additional seating, faster free Wi-Fi speeds and additional phone charging sockets we’ve rolled out in recent months. As always, the team at Dublin Airport are ready to welcome passengers set to fly off on city breaks and sun holidays this weekend.”
