AMCK, a Dublin-based aircraft lessor now owned by Carlyle, is appealing a US court ruling that awarded Frontier Airlines nearly $50m in a dispute over six A320s.
Frontier Airlines filed a lawsuit against AMCK in 2020 regarding a planned sale and leaseback of the Airbus A320 family aircraft, seeking $53m in damages.
The court ruled in June in favour of Frontier Airlines, awarding them almost $50m in damages.
AMCK is now appealing this ruling, potentially seeking a reversal or reduction in the damages awarded to Frontier Airlines.
