Turkey’s Minister of Culture and Tourism has announced an 18.8pc increase in Irish tourists visiting Turkey in the first half of 2024.
Total visitors to Turkey reached 26.1m in the same period, with tourism revenues growing by 9.3pc to £18.5bn. b
Traditional markets like Russia, Germany, and the UK continued to grow, with significant increases in the number of visitors.
Turkey also saw significant growth in the Chinese and Japanese markets, with the Chinese market experiencing a 111pc increase in visitors.
