Titanic Belfast is displaying a luxury 18ct gold Tiffany & Co. pocket watch presented to RMS Carpathia’s Captain, Arthur Rostron by the widows of high-profile businessmen who perished in the sinking of RMS Titanic
The pocket watch will be on public display until the end of October and is on loan from Henry Aldridge and Sons auction house before going to auction on November 16th
Captain Rostron’s quick actions led to the rescue of over 700 survivors from the sinking of RMS Titanic
