TourismNI has launched a watchlist of four multi-generational travel locations, suitable for grandparents and children.
Destinations like the Titanic Quarter in Belfast, Cuilcagh Lakelands in County Fermanagh, the Sperrins in County Tyrone, and the Causeway Coastal Route provide a mix of unique sites and hidden gems perfect for generational travel, offering a variety of activities and accommodation options to cater to families of all ages.
A survey conducted by the Family Travel Association showed half of respondents expressing interest in traveling together with different generations of their family and 57pc of people expressing a desire to spend more time with their grandparents.
- Titanic Quarter, Belfast Titanic Belfast; this shimmering landmark dominates the skyline and the Titanic Quarter. Finish off with a walk on the Maritime Mile along the expansive waterfront or checkout the Belfast Giants hockey team at the SSE Arena.
