Despite a High Court case and renewed uncertainty for the future of the Rose of Tralee, business owners in Tralee are optimistic as the event nears, with hotels and businesses preparing for a busy week due to increased tourist interest in the special Rose atmosphere.

Kerry County Council’s support for Féile Thrá Lí has been praised for maintaining street festivities during challenging times related to court issues involving festival organizers, contributing to the positive atmosphere in Tralee ahead of the Rose of Tralee International Festival.

Tralee Chamber Alliance CEO, Colette O’Connor, said hotels are fully booked for the upcoming week, driven by demand from Féile Thrá Lí and the Rose of Tralee festival, highlighting the economic importance of these events for local businesses.
