CarTrawler, the Dundrum-based provider of car rental and mobility solutions, saw a 5pc increase in revenues to €173.8m for the year ending September 30, driven by heightened travel demand post-pandemic and 14 new contract signings, including partnerships with Avelo, Volotea, and Hilton Honors.

The company reported a 15pc year-on-year surge in car reservation volumes, while car rental pricing stabilized, contributing to a 150pc rise in group operating profit to €8.3m during the same period.

With 2,200 car rental and mobility suppliers across 50,000 locations in 150 countries, CarTrawler anticipates continued growth in its current financial year following collaborations with Air France-KLM Group, Wizz Air, Jet.com, Jet2holidays, and Luxury Escapes.

Investment of over €100m by the private equity firm TowerBrook in 2020 has bolstered CarTrawler’s position amidst the challenges faced by the global travel market.

CEO Peter O’Donovan attributed the company’s strong performance to its leading market proposition and talented workforce “The strength of our proposition is enabling us to deliver a record level of new business, with several new partners going live in the coming months. This is in addition to the 10 new partners already added the last year and in combination will drive further growth in our 2024 financial year,”
