Aergo Capital, based in Ballsbridge in Dublin, has completed a sale-and-leaseback transaction with Canada’s Westjet for eight B737-800s.
The Aergo-owned airframes involved in the transaction include specific aircraft with registration numbers: C-FCSX, C-FDMB, C-FKRF, C-FLBV, C-FPLS, C-FWJS, C-GWBU, and C-GWUX.
One of the aircraft, C-GWBU, is currently out of service due to damage from a recent hailstorm in Calgary on August 5.
Aergo Capital CEO Fred Browne expressed satisfaction with the deal, marking their first transaction with WestJet and adding another Canadian carrier to their client base.
