KLM Royal Dutch Airlines received its first A321-200NX, with plans to add four of these aircraft, all dry-leased from CDB Aviation, to its fleet.

The A321-200NX, with registration PH-AXA, is set to enter service on September 15, operating routes from Amsterdam Schiphol to cities such as Copenhagen, Berlin, and Stockholm, with additional destinations like London, Paris, and Vienna to follow.

Marjan Rintel, KLM’s president and CEO, noted that the arrival of the A321neo marks the beginning of the transition from the airline’s Boeing B737 fleet.

KLM’s current fleet consists of various aircraft types, including Airbus A330s, Boeing B737s and B777s, and Embraer E-Jets, with plans to incorporate more A321-200NXs as part of its fleet renewal strategy.
