The iconic McDonald’s at Nyugati Railway Station, known as one of the most beautiful McDonald’s in the world, has reopened after undergoing an extensive renovation that commenced in January 2024.
The historic building, originally designed by the Gustave Eiffel Company and opened in 1990, has been meticulously refurbished to preserve its architectural splendor, including antique lamps, a wrought-iron gate, and intricately painted stucco ceilings, while incorporating modern design elements like mirrored glass surfaces and copper-covered light fixtures.
The updated interior features a blend of contemporary aesthetics and historic charm, offering guests an enhanced dining experience with advanced kitchen technology, touchscreen kiosks, and mobile app ordering convenience. A unique food conveyor belt system, visible through a glass box, facilitates order transport between the kitchen’s two levels.
Changes include the relocation of the McCafé to the entrance level, the transformation of the outdoor area into a stylish terrace lounge, and the promise of additional special features to be unveiled, ensuring an elevated and memorable experience for visitors at this landmark McDonald’s location.
