Brussels Airlines plans to expand its widebody fleet to 13 A330-300 aircraft in the coming years, focusing on enhancing its African network to meet growing demand.

The additional A330-300s will be transferred from other Lufthansa Group carriers, which currently operate various A330-300 fleets.

Brussels Airlines operates ten A330-300s on flights to 18 destinations in Africa, as well as to New York and seasonally to Washington, D.C., but faces limitations in serving southern Africa.

The airline will invest EUR 100m in cabin refurbishment and will also participate in an ACMI partnership with airBaltic to wet-lease at least four A220-300s starting in Summer 2025, as it reassesses its narrowbody fleet strategy.
