The July has been bringing its Amsterdam-born spirit to Dublin, opening a new aparthotel on Capel Street this October. The property features six thoughtfully designed apartment styles ranging from studios to spacious one-bedroom suites with private terraces and full in-room kitchens. The design has resulted from a collaboration between The July’s in-house team, led by Dublin native and Head of Design Caitriona McGachy, and the award-winning interior studio Fettle.
The interiors blend local heritage inspired by Georgian architecture, Smithfield Fruit Market, 14 Henrietta Street and Grattan Bridge with the brand’s signature clean lines and playful geometry. Nods to Irish designer Eileen Gray and a curated collection of local artwork further root the property in Dublin’s creative community. Sustainability is woven into the building, which holds a BREEAM Excellent certification, meaning 100% all-electric energy, solar power, and non-toxic materials throughout.
At the heart of the building sits Onóra, a contemporary neighbourhood restaurant developed in partnership with Dublin hospitality group Bereen Brothers. The property includes an on-site barber shop, flexible co-working spaces, three meeting rooms, a wellness area with a sauna and gym, an on-site laundry room, and top-floor views of the city. The July Dublin celebrates its opening with 20% off stays plus complimentary breakfast or airport pickup for bookings until 31 March 2027.
