
Etihad Airways carried 1.7m passengers in August 2024, achieving an average load factor of 89pc, indicating strong demand during the summer holiday season.
Year-to-date, the airline has welcomed 12m passengers, marking a 36pc increase compared to the previous year, and a rolling 12-month total of over 17m, nearly a 70pc increase since 2022.
The airline’s operating fleet expanded to 95 aircraft, up from 79 a year earlier, demonstrating significant growth and capacity expansion while maintaining a load factor above 86pc.
In August, Etihad introduced the last two of six A321neos and increased its network by 10 new passenger destinations, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s status as a global aviation hub.
