Emirates has opened a lounge at London Stansted Airport, covering 900 sqm and accommodating up to 125 guests, following significant investment of over €5m.
The airline began daily flights to Stansted in 2018, increased to twice daily in 2019, suspended operations during the pandemic, and resumed the service in August 2022.
The new lounge offers amenities such as free Wi-Fi, shower facilities, and a ‘farm to table’ food concept in collaboration with Sussex-based Full Circles Farms.
Mohammed Mattar, Emirates’ divisional senior vice president of airport services, emphasized the importance of Stansted Airport as a key gateway and highlighted the airline’s commitment to enhancing the premium travel experience.
