ASL Ireland join Fokker next gen advisory group

Hugh Flynn of Swords based ASL Aviation Holdings DAC has joined Fokker Next Gen’s Airline Advisory Group, collaborating with a select group of airlines to provide feedback for the development of new aircraft focused on sustainability. 

The Fokker Next Gen Airline Advisory Group aims to understand customer needs and explore challenges associated with hydrogen-powered aircraft, with insights from operators playing a crucial role in the aircraft development process. 

ASL Aviation Holdings will contribute valuable knowledge from both the cargo and passenger sectors, assisting Fokker Next Gen in creating next-generation aircraft that address operational requirements while promoting environmental sustainability. 

Fokker Next Gen’s CEO, Juriaan Kellermann, shared:: “Having ASL Aviation Holdings DAC on board is a major step in expanding the scope of our Airline Advisory Group. The insights they bring from the cargo side of the industry will be invaluable as we continue developing aircraft that meet the evolving needs of air operators while pushing the boundaries of sustainability. Together, we can shape a future where aviation is carbon emission free and economically viable for both passengers and cargo.”
