Virgin Atlantic is updating its Flying Club loyalty programme by introducing dynamic pricing for reward seat redemptions, allowing members to use Virgin Points for any available seat on any flight starting October 30, with prices fluctuating based on demand.
The airline will also launch a new Saver Reward seat product featuring competitive pricing, including one-way flights to New York for as low as 6,000 Virgin Points, while maintaining guaranteed availability of at least 12 reward seats per flight.
Members will earn increased Virgin Points on Upper Class (up to 50pc more) and Premium tickets (up to 75pc more), but details regarding changes to taxes and fees for redemptions have not yet been clarified.
Additionally, revised vouchers for eligible credit card holders and renewing Gold tier members will be converted into Flying Club reward vouchers for companion seat or upgrade use, with different redemption limits based on membership tier.
