
KLM has extended the suspension of all flights to Tel Aviv until at least the end of 2024 due to escalating tensions in the Middle East, particularly the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.
KLM subsidiary Transavia has also suspended flights to Beirut until November 3 and to Tel Aviv until March 2025, while Air France has halted operations to both cities.
Ryanair flights to Tel Aviv from 24 cities are suspended until Octoebr 27.
German airline Lufthansa has previously announced a long-term suspension of flights to Tel Aviv and Beirut, as well as to Tehran until at least October 14.
European aviation authorities, including the European Commission and EASA, have advised airlines to avoid airspace over Lebanon and Israel because of the increasing security risks, with a recommendation in place until at least October 31.
