Loganair is operating four return services between Belfast City airport and Isle of Man Ronaldsway over the holiday season after Emerald airlines withdrew from the route.
The airline will run using a 72-seater ATR-72, with flights on December 21, December 26, December 31, and January 2.
Departures from the Isle of Man are scheduled for mid-afternoon and mid-morning, with return flights appropriately timed to accommodate passengers’ travel needs.
Ellie McGimpsey, Aviation Development Manager at Belfast City Airport, shared, “this Loganair service to Isle of Man is in time for the festive season, in which we facilitate the homecoming of up to 10,000 passengers a day. Whether they’re travelling to the Isle of Man or returning to Belfast to reunite with loved ones, our unrivalled location at the heart of the city means passengers will enjoy a fast and convenient journey.”
Luke Lovegrove, the Chief Commercial Director at Loganair, shared: “It is incredibly important to us that we are able to keep passengers connected, especially over the festive period, and we’re proud that we are able to step in and reinstate a service that is relied on heavily over the holidays. We look forward to welcoming passengers on board as we fly them home for Christmas.”
