Thirty five tourism enterprises from Ireland participated in the ‘Meet in Ireland’ initiative at IMEX America in Las Vegas, showcasing Ireland to approximately 5,000 international buyers and planners as a prime destination for Business Events, presenting meetings and incentive travel.
Around 1,900 commercial meetings are scheduled at the Ireland stand with global planners, aiming to secure Business Events for Ireland in 2024 and beyond.
Business travel offers high value and typically occurs midweek or off-season, aligning with Tourism Ireland’s strategy to boost overseas tourism revenue outside of peak summer months.
‘Meet in Ireland’ serves as the official MICE brand for the island, promoting collaboration among Tourism Ireland, Fáilte Ireland, and TourismNI to position Ireland as a leading destination for conferences and events.
