The European Regions Airline Association (ERA) recognised airlines Binter, Loganair, and SKY express at the ERA Airline Awards 2024 in Seville, Spain, celebrating their achievements in connectivity, sustainability, and innovation.
Binter received both the ERA Airline of the Year and the ERA Regional Connectivity Airline Award for enhancing regional connectivity and launching new routes while actively promoting sustainability and local economic growth.
Loganair was honoured with the ERA Sustainable Airline Award for its proactive sustainability initiatives, including a hydrogen-powered aircraft project and electric turnaround operations, as part of its GreenSkies program.
SKY express won the ERA Innovation Airline Award for integrating advanced technology in its operations, such as paperless cockpits and AI for optimizing route planning, solidifying its role as a leader in innovation and operational efficiency in the aviation industry.
