Cork has been named one of the 25 best places in the world to travel by National Geographic, highlighting its vibrant culture and hospitable local community.
The Cork City Development Plan aims to enhance the city’s infrastructure and cultural offerings by 2028, including a redevelopment of the port and improvements to the event center and art gallery.
Upcoming initiatives include new airline routes and hotel developments, as well as the Sounds from a Safe Harbour festival in September 2025, co-founded by local Oscar-winning actor Cillian Murphy.
