Éamonn McEneaney, former Director of Waterford Museum of Treasures was awarded an honorary doctorate from South East Technological University (SETU) on October 30 for their significant contributions to society.
Mr McEneaney is recognized for his 25 years in museum management and efforts in preserving Waterford’s heritage, including the development of the Viking Triangle Project, enhancing cultural tourism in the city.
SETU’s conferring ceremonies celebrate outstanding individuals whose achievements exemplify the university’s values, and this year marks the second consecutive year of awarding honorary doctorates.
