The inaugural Western Strands String Fest is taking place in Belmullet celebrating the vibrant world of string instruments.
Organized by The Western Strands, the festival will offer a variety of activities, including workshops, sessions, and a headline concert, attracting musicians and music enthusiasts.
The festival kicks off on Friday with engaging ukulele and guitar sessions, catering to all skill levels.
A highlight of the event will be the Saturday evening concert featuring the energetic group “Dead Man’s Uke” at Áras Inis Gluaire, starting at 7:30 pm with an admission fee of €10.
