Singapore Airlines (SIA) is investing S$1.1bn (€768m) in a multi-year retrofit program to install new long-haul cabin products across 41 Airbus A350-900 aircraft, including the seven A350-900ULR variants.
For the first time, the A350-900ULR aircraft will feature a new first class cabin, and all aircraft will be equipped with next-generation business class seats designed to enhance passenger comfort.
The retrofit program will also refresh the premium economy and economy class cabins, aiming to cater to evolving customer preferences through extensive stakeholder engagement over the past six years.
The first retrofitted A350-900 is expected to enter service in Q2 2026, with the complete program slated for completion by the end of 2030, allowing for updated seating configurations across both aircraft variants.
