The National Ploughing Championships will return to Co Offaly in 2025, taking place in Screggan, near Tullamore, from September 16 to 18.
The event will be hosted by Lisa Flaherty Grogan, following the legacy of her late husband, Joe Grogan, who previously hosted the championships in 2016-2018.
The three-day competition is expected to significantly boost the local economy, bringing millions of euros through tourism and related activities.
Attendees can look forward to a blend of classic highlights along with new attractions introduced by the National Ploughing Association to enhance the experience.
