Titanic Belfast has reported a significant increase in pre-tax profits, rising over threefold to €6.5m, driven by record revenues that grew by 54% within the year to March 2023.

Visitor numbers surged to 813,857, surpassing expectations by 26pc and indicating a strong post-Covid recovery, alongside the success of new exhibitions and increased cruise ship visitors.

This make Titanic Ireland’s seventh most visited attraction after Guinness Storehouse, Cliffs of Moher, Dublin Zoo, National Aquatic Centre and Book of Kells.

The attraction’s revenue exceeded pre-pandemic figures, highlighting the effectiveness of strategic investments, such as the £4.5m gallery refresh, which rejuvenated the visitor experience.

Despite a reduction in staffing levels from 364 to 295, the company remains optimistic about ongoing growth and profitability for 2024, while also adapting to evolving visitor purchasing trends and expanding its market reach.
