Tourism Ireland participated in the Britain & Ireland Marketplace (BIM) in London, an event organised by the European Tourism Association to promote Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales to global travel buyers.

The event featured pre-scheduled, one-to-one appointments that allowed Tourism Ireland to connect with international tour operators and travel buyers.

BIM served as a platform to inspire travel buyers and raise awareness about the diverse attractions available throughout Ireland.

Aisling McDermott, Tourism Ireland’s Head of Global Partnerships, shared that the event was an opportunity to keep Ireland as a top consideration for buyers planning future travel programmes in 2025 and beyond: “We were delighted to take part in BIM once again this year. The format of pre-scheduled, one-to-one appointments provided a great opportunity to showcase Ireland to key international travel buyers, ensuring Ireland is ‘top of mind’ for them when programming and recommending destinations to their clients in 2025 and beyond. The event provided a great platform to inspire the buyers and spread the word about the many great things to see and do right around Ireland.”
