Julia Hillenbrand has been appointed as the Vice President Sales EMEA for Lufthansa Group Airlines, overseeing commercial and sales activities across European countries, the Middle East, and Africa.
She succeeds Lorenza Maggio, who was appointed to the Board of Directors of ITA Airways, and she will focus on managing and developing global sales programs for the Lufthansa Group.
Hillenbrand has an extensive background within the Lufthansa Group, most recently responsible for brand and customer experience at SWISS, and has held leadership roles in various regions, including sales positions in Spain, Portugal, and Asia Pacific.
With a strong educational background in International Business and experience living in eleven countries, Hillenbrand is fluent in six languages and brings innovative strategies to enhance the airline’s customer engagement.
