Over 500,000 viewers in Belgium will watch an episode of the culinary travel show “Sergio Over De Grens,” featuring the Wild Atlantic Way, which airs today, 5 February 2025, on VTM and the streaming service VTM GO.

Filming for the episode occurred last summer, covering picturesque locations in Clare, Galway, and Mayo, including notable spots like Killary Fjord, Micil Distillery, and Glen Keen Farm.

Chef Sergio Herman explores local flavors and culinary experiences at venues such as POTA Café, The Artisan Pantry, and The Kings Head, showcasing Ireland’s rich culinary landscape.

Karen van der Horst from Tourism Ireland shared: “Tourism Ireland was delighted to support the production of this special Wild Atlantic Way episode of ‘Sergio Over De Grens’. Viewers across Belgium and the Netherlands will see Sergio Herman travel along the Wild Atlantic Way in search of new flavours, local ingredients and inspiring experiences.

“Publicity and broadcasts like this are a key element of Tourism Ireland’s programme of activity.
