Fingal County Council has allocated €525,000 in funding for 101 groups and organizations to support local festivals and events throughout 2025 as part of its Festival and Events Funding Programme.
The funding will bolster a range of musical, sporting, and cultural events, including major celebrations like the St. Patrick’s Day parades on March 17, which are expected to attract large crowds.
Mayor Brian McDonagh expressed pride in the community’s efforts to host diverse events, while Chief Executive AnnMarie Farrelly noted the importance of these gatherings for local social and economic development.
The events calendar for 2025 features attractions such as the Flavour of Fingal, Fingal Proms, and seasonal celebrations, ensuring a vibrant schedule with activities for locals and visitors throughout the year.
