Plans to restore Courtown Harbour and the surrounding beach in Co Wexford have been shared with the community, addressing ongoing coastal erosion issues.
The Wexford County Council’s Special Projects team presented the Courtown Beach Nourishment and Marina Development Project during a recent public consultation.
Construction is set to begin in 2027 for phase 1, with phase 2 planned for 2032. The initiative is part of a scheme to protect and enhance local coastal infrastructure, responding to the challenges posed by storms, including the impact of Storm Éowyn.
