Fáilte Ireland is allocating over €22,000 annually for the upkeep and maintenance of St Andrew’s Church in Dublin, which has been vacant for a decade.

The church became part of the Fáilte Ireland property portfolio in 2012 and served as an information office but has remained unused since their departure in 2015.

Multiple plans to repurpose the building, including a food hall by Manifesto Market, collapsed, with the latest attempt failing in 2023 due to renovation issues.

It was reported earlier this year that Fáilte Ireland aims to transform the church site into a food hall to create iconic dining experiences, showcasing local produce and reinvigorating Dublin’s historic building inventory.
